I am looking for the parents of William "Bill" Simmons, I understand that he may have died at Steer Creek which I have been told is in Gilmer County. He died about 1903. He is my great/great grandfather. One of his children listed with wife #1 Phoebe Thompson would be Miles Simmons who married Sarah Ann Hanna. Miles and Sarah's son George is my grandfather. Can anyone help me finding William "Bill" Simmons parents?
