James McEvoy married Katie Donohue (Donohoe)in the late 1800's at the Old Cathedral in Cavan. They had 13 children. One was my grandmother, Bridget Agnes (1902 - 1986). James and Katie were originally from Denn and settled in Lisreagh. It is my understanding that James was an educated man, liked to write, was a substitute teacher and a loner. He may also have been an only child. I would like to know the names of Katies and James' parents and siblings. I believe McEvoy's may still live in Lisreagh.
