I am searching for the ancestry of Elizabeth "Betsey" Hamer , daughter of James and Alice Hamer. She was born about 1817, at Bolton, Lancashire, England, married James Whitworth 23 sept. 1839 at Middleton, Lancs., and after his death in the 1860s she emigrated to America and died in Fall River, Bristol County, Massachusetts on 18 April 1888.Her daughter Emma married Robert Barlow of Heywood, Lancs. and Fall River, and was my great-great-grandmother.
