Researching Christopher Benjamin Lindsey, born near Belfast ca 1803. Came to Canada about 1832. Left no records of his birth place nor parents. His son David changed the spelling to Lindsay. Established Church of Ireland, was literate, settled in Goderich Twp. Ontario. Married 1836 in York (now Toronto) to his Irish fiance Margaret Nixon.
