My Gran was Florence Edith Annie (known as Eddie) Russell. She was born in Newport,Isle of Wight in 1895. Her father and mother were William Charles and Alice (nee Ashford) Russell When and where were they born. Did they have any siblings Can anyone give me any information. My Grandfather's name was Henry John Chambers Born on the 6th February 1885 in either Oudtshoorn or George, Cape Province. He died in 1957 I am looking for any information of Henry John Chambers. Who was his mother and father. Did he have any siblings? I understand that His parents immigrated form the U.K to South Africa, the year Henry John was born.Where were they from? My father Ronald Russell Chambers' Certificate of Baptism was witnessed by a Susan Chambers.Was this one of Henry John Chambers'sisters? were their others? Did they also move to South Africa?
