Any Benarick's out there? b.Feb 1854, died Jan 07 1904,Michal Bednarczyk was from Pielnia Polish Austria and now Sanok Dist in Poland. His Family used BEDNARCZYK, BEDNARCHEK, BEDNARICK, and finally, BENARICK in Forest City PA Susquehanna County. He is buried in Forest City Susquehanna County PA. Family stated he was from Galicia. Mike BEDNARIK came to America, with his children, between 1881 1883 1891 and 1893. As an older man in Forest City PA, he was restricted in a wheel chair. HE IS IN THE 1900 CENSUS as Mike Bednarik. Ship Manifests have Bednarik and Bednarczyk. His wife, CATHERINE MOSKAL MOSKALIK BENARICK, was born Nov 25 1857, according to son Stanley Benarick, at her death on March 09 1929. Others stated "Kate," Aka Cath'a, was born in 1854, as seen in the 1900 US Census. KATTIE BEDNARCHEK was a widow in 1910 Census. She had fallen down the stairs, due to being blind, developed Pnuemonia, and died at son's, STANLEY BENARICK'S home on Hudson St. Forest City PA. I, Myself, could not find the death of MIKE BEDNARIK BENARICK, through the New Castle PA Vital Statistics people, nor the Montrose Susquehanna County Courthouse people, between 1900 and 1910 Census. Mrs. Brager, the wife of a former Mayor of Forest City, located the 1904 tombstone, at St Agnes' Cemetery, and sent me a photo. "Letters to the Editor" of the hometown do work! Anna Bednarik BOMAGES & John BEDNARIK are in the attached Census. NB-Catherine BENARICK married Philip WILCHINSKI 1865-1920. Then she was with Franklin McCollum Gardiner Esq.
