I'm trying to find out some family information about my great grandfather. The last name is Shelby. I've been told that my great grandfather was a Cherokee Chief in the Tennessee area. I would guess in the late 1800's. The only thing I do know is that his son (my grandfather) was named Herbert and lived in the Cincinnati area until his death in about 1978. K
