My great, great grandfather was a Jeremiah Troxell and he lived in the Shenandoah Valley of VA in Augusta County. I looking for anyone with information related to his wife Mary Ann McCadden, who may have been a Cherokee Indian. It may also be true that someone else in early family was a Cherokee as family history says we are part Cherokee.
