I am trying to trace my ancestors who came from Latvia My Grandfather was Charles HELLWIG and I think he was borne in WINDAU ( now called Ventspils) in 1871-2 I know he was in Libau (now called Liepaja) in 1891. It may be that it is where my Great Grandfather Edward Hellwig (who was married to Julia nee Saunders)died. I am travelling to Germany in April this year and would like to find my family history before I leave so that I can visit their homeland. Also I am trying to trace Theodore Edward Hellwig who was born in c 1871 who was born in Prussia. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
