Susan CARR was my great grandmother who was born at Mendooran, NSW c. 1860. Well, she may have been born at Mendooran but her birthplace may have been somewhere in the Gulgong/Mudgee/Rylestone/Dubbo area of NSW! Her parents' names were not recorded on her Marriage record to Charles Carter WADE, nor on her Death record. I'm beginning to suspect that her parents were Irish people, Bryan CARR & Hannah DONOHUE who sailed to Australia from Liverpool, England in 1860 on the "Alfred".
