Searching for the first and maiden name of the wife of Philo Ackley. He was born about 1773 and died about 1813. Philo and ? had seven children; Jehiel (Hial), Ronda, Oliver, Roswell, Freeman, Medora and Harriet. When Philo died Hial and his wife Clarrisa were given guardenship of the minor children. However we have an indication that Philo's widow was still living as late as 1877. Medora married my g-g-grandfather Samuel Sibra Hotchkiss. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
