I am helping my husband search for his birth family. He was born 07/30/1964 (white male, dark hair & dark eyes) in Newport News, Virginia and he thinks the hospital was on Hampton Road(?). His birth grandfather worked with his adopted father. His birth parents were young and unmarried and the adoption was arranged by the b-grandfather and the A-father. This could have been a private adoption. The birth grandfather's last name is Abbott or Abbitt and the adopting family's name was Jones.
