My grandfather Bernard Meehan came here from Donegal in 1903,to NYC.and met and married Ellen Boyle also from Donegal,came over in 1906. They had nine children and settled in Brooklyn,NY. He had a sister named Mary who married John Keaney, they lived in either Long Island or Staten Island in the early 60's. He came over on USS Columbia (Londonderry) and she on the USS Furnessia (Londonderry). He died in 1928, parents were John Meehan and Catherine Hogenbottom Meehan.Ellen Boyle Meehan died in 1978,both in Brooklyn,NY. Have no other info on family. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
