I have been researching my Baden and Dunne ancestors since 1998. I have been unsuccessful in trying to locate where my grandmother, Lillian Elizabeth Baden (Dunne maiden name) went to after her husband, Patrick Baden, passed away in Skagit County, Mount Vernon, Washington in 1929. He was buried in Mount Vernon in the Fir Street (Union Cemetary as was called in 1929) in Mount Vernon, Washington. He had a military honorary funeral, as he was in the British Army when he was in Ireland. He and my grandmother emigrated from Ireland sometime after April 1910. Patrick Baden was a Canadian Mountie for a while before coming to the United States. His first child, a daughter, named Mary Baden, was born in April 1910 in Cork, Ireland. She was later called Lillian Baden and married Samuel McKay and lived in Seattle all her life.
