My 2nd great grandfather, John Wilmer DALY, was born 1829 in Listowel, Co. Kerry, according to his obituary. He came to the U.S./Canada about 1847 as a young unmarried man. In 1853, he married Johanna STACK in Ontario, Canada. They brought their family to the U.S. in 1857, and after living in New York and Wisconsin, settled in Minnesota. John died in Olmsted Co., Minnesota, in 1897. He had a brother, Pierce, and a sister, Johanna. Does anyone know anything about this man and his parents?
