I was born George Miller (according to the Adoption Papers found in A-Mom's safe deposit box after her death) on 1/3/1960 in Jersey City, NJ. My birth Mother was Dolores (assuming her last name was Miller) and my Father's name was George. They were not married and I do not know his last name. I was placed in the care of Catholic Charities shortly after my birth. I was cared for in Saint Vincent's Nursery in Montclair NJ until April 1960 when I was placed in the home of my Adoptive parents (Mary and Stephen Kuziel) in Harrison, NJ. The Adoption was formalized in June 1961. I am searching for any information I can get concerning my birth family and the Home Study that was conducted by Catholic Charities leading up to my placement with my Adoptive family. Both Adoptive parents are now deceased and I have only recently started my search. I have gotten some information from Catholic Charities, but want to know as much as I can about my Birth Family. I have one older half-brother named Joseph (born 2/28/1955). I also have one younger half-brother and two younger half-sisters (names not known). Dolores went on to marry (as did George) and is widowed. She also has several grand-children (my half-nieces and half-nephews). Dolores is Polish and George is Scottish/Indian (don't know it that is Asian Indian or Native American). According to the Catholic Charities Non-ID report, Dolores did not tell George about her pregnancy with me which means my B-Father may not even know I exist.
