Shipman (1921 OK) and Walter They appear on the 1920 Oklahoma Payne Co. Census. John, Maggie, Nellie (BROWN), and Susie (Sioney?) were living in the home of Abraham L.(Minister) and Susie HALL at 214 E. Main St., Cushing , Payne County, Oklahoma.. John was unemployed and they were boarders in the home. John could neither read or write. John's father and mother were born in Arkansas (or Missouri). Nellie Maudina BROWN's father was Isaac Abraham BROWN and she was born Jan 1912, Tulsa, Tulsa County, Oklahoma. Before 1938 she married a Unknown HUGHES and was working for the Griggs Canning Company of Natalia, Medina County,Texas., She later married an Unknown BLOOMINGDALE and died in Citrus Heights, Sacramento, Sacramento County, California-1988 Any information on this BROWN family would be greatly appreciated.
