Frank or Franck-Martin, Mary, Manuel, Frank (Yes Frank Frank) Mary & or May (Mae) Josephine & Alice Rena- I am looking for anybody with information on my grandmothers (Alice Rena Frank)married name (Rowe) that was possibly born in CA.& her side of the Frank family. Her parents names are Martin & Mary Frank (Franck) and her parents were born in Portugal or The Azores. I was told that there is a possibility that one of the sons were born in Portugal or The Azores, but I can't verify this. Her mother Mary Adel Henrigues (Maiden Name) is on my grandmothers social security application. The only lead I have is on ancestry.com the 1880 U.S. Federal Census in Oregon, Butte County in CA Household Members: Name Age Birthplace Martin Frank 43 Portugal Mary Frank 30 Portugal Mary Frank 5 Mass. Frank Frank 3 Calif. Manuel Frank 6M Calif. Joseph Luther 49 Portugal There is no official documentation about my grandmothers birth but she put down on her social security application that she was born in Clear Creek, CA and it says to be verified. I don't think she had any birth certificate or birth record. I have checked with the Official Records and Genealogy Society for Lassen County and there isn't any record of a Frank or Franck family. My Grandmother Alice Rena married my Grandfather Gus F. Rowe possibly in Mendocino County in between ? 1900 & 1908. There isn't any documentation of there marriage. They lived in Albion, CA until 1929 when the Albion Lumber Mill closed down then they moved with all 11 of there children to Campbell or San Jose, CA. There childrens names are Ted (legal name Theodore), Glen, Ray (Legal Name Bradford) & Gus my father. And there daughters names are Eva, Violet, Edie, Evelyn, Dorothy, Mabel & Helen. I was told that the daughter May,(Mae) or Mary Frank married a Elmer Cullins (I am not sure if Cullins is the correct spelling of his last name) and they lived in Sebastopool. I was told that the daughter Josephine Frank lived in San Francisco. My grandmother Alice Rena Rowe died in 1951 in San Jose, and my grandfather Gus F. Rowe died in 1953 in San Jose. I NEED ANY HELP THAT YOU CAN GIVE ME BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE ANY LEGAL DOCUMENTATION THAT BACKS UP ANY INFORMATION THAT I WAS GIVEN FROM MY AUNT.
