Query Text:

Isaac J. Hammons married Polly Ann Bracket 20 July 1865, Roane County, Tennessee. Who are his parents? We assume that Polly is a nickname for Mary Ann Brackett. In 1870 it appears that they are living in Howell County, Missouri close to Ben Alsup father of Nancy wife of James Hammons. Are all these people related? Could Isaac J. be the James Hammons son of Absalom Hammons of Roane County, Tennessee. Could he be related to Ellen Hammons Ford living also living there in 1870? Any help to solve this confusion will be appreciated. Thank you
