I recently had some research done in Dobbertin parish church records in Mecklenburg Schwerin regarding Wendt and Hahn familys. My ancestors were not located: Joachim Heinrich Wendt and Maria Hahn but the following information might be helpful to someone. Carl Wendt / Maria Knüppel - Sophia Elisabeth Maria, born 1831 - stillborn son 1833 - Friedrich Joachim Theodor, born 1834, died 1834 Hans Joachim Wendt / Elisabeth Köpke - Carl Johann Christian, born 1829 Johann Wendt / Elisabeth Maria Wendt - Maria Dorothea Carolina, born 1835 Joachim Friedrich Wendt / Maria Junge - Joachim Christoph Friedrich, born 1836 - Johann Carl Ludwig, born 1836 - stillborn boy 1838 - Christoph Carl Johann, born 1839, died 1853 Johann Friedrich Wendt / Charlotte Sophia Maria Roloff - Maria Christina Friederike, born 1836 - Sophia Caroline Friederice, born 1837 the Hahn-family: About 1851 three families emigrated with consent from Mecklenburg: - Carl Georg Hahn from Ludwigslust - Theodor Hahn from Schwerin and - Johann Joachim Hahn from Rossow. In church archive I found that he was married to Marie Caroline Nettelbeck and had following children: o Maria Caroline Emilie, born 28 December 1839 o Johann Heinrich Wilhelm, born 6 October 1842 o Caroline Louise Friederike, born 18 November 1847 o Stillborn son 1 January 1851 At first I thought this is the right family but then I found out that Johann Heinrich Wilhelm was confirmed 1857. The family was still living here. Another Hahn-family in Rossow was Joachim Caspar Friedrich Hahn who had an illegitimate son with Elisabeth Sophia Genge: Karl Friedrich Wilhelm, born 28 June 1846
