Joseph Stanley Thallman Born: January 23, 1832 – died October 19, 1916 age 84 Born in Switzerland – Was Swiss Dutch or Swiss German Married in Switzerland to Elizabeth Raisor Side note: Joseph was a stonemason by trade. Became Mayor of Harwood, Missouri. Killed by the Wallbash Cannon Ball train, he was hard of hearing and did not hear the train. Joseph Stanley died on Oct 19, 1916 but he was not buried until October 30, 1916. Joseph Stanley is buried in Harwood Cemetery, Vernon Co., MO. Elizabeth Rasir Born in Switzerland, but was French.
