Searching for family of my grandfather. He was born in 1922 as John O'Geyer (or Geyer?), but his parents were killed in a train accident and he was adopted through St. John's Home in Grand Rapids, MI, as Francis Edward Zielinski when he was about 2 years old. The adoption records were burned in a fire so we have no factual information to go on.
