I am trying to find find a death date and place of burial for my gr grandmother Mary Bloom McDowell. She was born in 1834 somewhere in Pike County, I do not know her parents name, but she married Samuel McDowell and they settled in Curwensville where he was a farmer and wagon maker. I have been able to tract her thru the 1870 census for Mifflin county, Curwensville but can't find neither one on the 1880 census. I did find Samuel on the 1900 PA census living with their son Wade R. McDowell. She and Samuel had 6 children, Josephine dob 1856 born in Clearfield Co. Pa--Willetta dob 1858 ( who married Jas. Thompson)--Emery Wilson dob 1860 born in Clearfield Co.( married Juniata Shannon)- Wade Ritner McDowell dob 1864- ( who also married a Mary Boom)Carrie dob 1866& Parker dob 1868.
