I am trying to find my sister who was adopted in Manitoba, and is living in Winnipeg . We were given up in 1954.I went to ST.Josephs catholic orphanage on Portage Ave. My sister was born Dorothy Lynn Tymchuk at Misericordia hospital in Winnipeg in July 5,1952.Adoptive parents both in army in Manitoba in 40s. Also have biological son Wayne born in 1946.Father born in 1917, of scottish descent, was driver - mechanic in army .Mother was of Irish descent, and was an m.p. in army . After army , wife became a domestic , husband worked for farm implement mfg.company.My sisters adoption was finalized 1959 in Manitoba. My sister had blue eyes and has a fear of dogs.Childrens Aid of Winnipeg handled the adoption.Our mother deceased 1965. Your bio. father deceased 2005.You Dorothy, are now known as Donna or Dawna Elizabeth surname unknown. You have 3 brothers who are eagerly waiting to hear from you.Post adoption registry has had no success in trying contact as yet. Your brothers,Wayne Tymchuk, Edward Susanski,Mike Tymchuk.Our mothers maiden name was McCracken,married name Susanski. Given names were Ethel Mae,Born Saskatchewan 1926.
