I am searching for my birth family. I am 53 years old. Born in Seattle WA, March 19,1954. According to the file with Children's Home Society, I have a sister Pamela, born in 1949 and a brother born in 1952 with an unusual name. My birth certificate says that I was born in Seattle at King County hospital. I was relinquished at birth and went to a boarding home. My mother's name is Lorraine and was born in 1928. My father was born in 1929 but has an unusual name so was not given to me. My paternal grandmothers name was Mildred and my paternal aunt is named Beth. My mother was tall, slender, and had olive complexion and my father was 6'2,Irish, with fair hair and skin. I have olive skin that loves to tan, prominent cheek bones, 5'11 and not slender anymore but not really fat either. Our gene's are very strong as my daughter and grand daughter and I look very much alike. My son and youngest daughter are over 6'. My oldest daughter is same as me and next is 5'7. Born with blond hair that later turned auburn. Eyes blue at birth then hazel. I have gotten two different stories about my adoption. One was that my mother had fooled around while her husband was overseas and he was coming home so she had to give me away. The other was that I was taken by the equivalent of CPS at that time and adopted out. Hmmm what do I believe. Either works. I am not angry or hostile for the choice. I just want to find my family and get medical info etc. I and two of my children have diabetes. We also share ADHD. I have diverticulitis. Please we need whatever leads we can get.
