I am a caucasian female who was born February 7, 1977 under the name Baby Hennessey. I am searching for my birthmother whose last name, I'm assuming, is also Hennessey, unless she married. I was adopted through Catholic Charities in Chicago and I know I was born in Ravenswood Hospital on the North side of Chicago. I was brought home to Indiana by my new family on February 14, 1977 and given the last name Griffin. I am 30 years old now, still not married. My birthmother wrote me a letter explaining her reasons for giving me up and gave it to adoption agency to give my adoptive parents. I read it for the first time when I was 13 and I still read it all the time. I am 5'2" with dark blonde hair, some what of a stocky build, hazel eyes. I am very idependent and sometimes quite stubborn but I have a very very soft heart and a giving nature. I have a son of my own, his name is Zach and he is turning 12 in May. I have always felt a part of me was missing even though my adoptive parents treated me very well. I've never felt quite whole and I think it's because I know there is someone out there who has my hair or eye color, my personality, etc. and I don't even know who they are.
