Looking for any information anyone would have or know about my grand parents. Grand fathers name Illes Kovacs born January 13, 1887 in Hungary or Romania - his fathers name is George Kovacs and his mothers name is Rosalia Abraham. Grand mothers name is Etelka Kovacs - madien name Dudash or it could be Dudas' born December 8, 1888 in Drogschina or Dragsina - her fathers name is Dutas Michael and her mothers name is Julian Kulch or it could be Kulcs they also were born in Dragsina. It is our understanding that they left Hungary to Canada when my grand mother was pregnant with my father Joseph Michael. My father was born in Canada on March 6, 1927 and we were told that he was the only one out of fifteen children that survived. At one point the last name was changed from Kovac' or Kovach to Kovacs. They left Canada and arrived to the U.S. on October 5, 1928 and lived in Chicago, Illinois. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
