I have put this profile in the registry for the purposes of being available for my son to find me if he so chooses. My son was born on 3/30/89 at Miami Dade Jackson Memorial Hospital at 9:55 am. He would be 18 now. This was done through a private agency, I did not let them know whom the father was for good reason. I do know whom the father is. My last name at the time was McDonald. They did not let me sign the birth certificate, for what reason I really don't know. I just want him to know that I really had no choice at the time of his birth; but to give him to (hopefully) partents that would be able to provide a stable and loving home and environment for him. I was not able to provide this at that time. If he ever does find me I will explain in more detail. If you are reading this my hopes are that you had a wonderful life with good loving parents that supported you in all you did and raised you to be a good person. Giving you up for adoption was the hardest thing I had and have ever had to do in my lifetime. I did get to hold you in the hospital for 3 days. I hated leaving you, truly I did. When the day came for the C-section, I cried because I knew it was time for us to be seperated. Son, I did what was in your best interest at that time. I wasn't able nor capable of taking you home. I think of you often and hope that one day we can meet. Please, if you do have any resentements towowrds me I ask for your forgivness. I want you to know I didn't give you up for adoption because I didn't love you, it was because I didn't love me. If we ever meet I will explain this statement. I hope all is well with you, that your parents have given you a loving home and that you love yourself and strive to be a good man. Well hopefully one day we will meet. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
