I am looking for any biological relative. I recently received my adoption papers and my name on it was Melanie Beth Baty. I am assuming that Baty is my biological last name. My adoptive name became Melanie Beth Lang. My grandmother told me years ago that I may have up to 5 brothers and that my parents were going through a divorce. They may have been Catholic and someone in my family was Italian. She is deceased now, so I don't know if that is truly accurate. I was born in Buffalo, NY on Feb. 20, 1962 at 10:11 pm weighing 6ibs. 15 oz. I know that it was a private adoption. I was born at Millard Fillmore Hospital in Erie County, Buffalo NY. Charlton G. Blair was my parents attorney at the time. I was a foster child in the eyes of the state until April 27, 1965. Apparently that was the law at that time, however my adoptive parents took me home around 6 days after my birth. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
