I am seeking information on Dennis McEvoy of Blackrock in Dublin who emigrated to Australia aboard 'The Charles Kerr' from London via Gravesend leaving 16-3-1840 and arriving in Port Adelaide on 17-6-1840. He was apparently accompanied by a sister, Catherine and was aged 28 years at the time. I have information about his life in Australia but know nothing of his Irish connections. In Australia he married Ann Jane Carson also born in Ireland in 1824. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
