Searching for descendants of Johannes/John and Barbara (Gabriel) Dienes. They were both born in Bavaria, Germany in the 1820s and were married there in the 1840s. They came to New York City around 1855 with their two oldest children, Maria/Mary and Johannes/John. They had four more children born in NYC: Margaret/Maggie, Teresa, George and Anna/Annie. They moved to Hoboken, NJ in the 1870s. John Sr. was a butcher. Teresa married a James Walsh and later lived in Jersey City.
