I am searching for my birth son born in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe on June 5th 1977. My mother wanted to adopt him but my girlfriend's family refused. His birth mother was sent to St Claire's Home and gave birth at the Lady Rodwell or Mater Dei. (Not sure) I am living in South Africa, am married and have an nine year old daughter. My wife supports my search and I would dearly want to connect with my son even if for a moment. He is never far from my thoughts and have been searching since the early 1990's. I am of Scottish decent and have light brown hair and hazel eyes. Height - average. Mother had blonde hair and blue eyes. I was serving in the army when he was conceived and was 21 years old. His mother was 17 or 18. She has since moved to the UK. She told me a few years ago that she had tried to find the adoption records in Zim but was unsuccessful.
