Looking for information about a great aunt, named Rosa Emilio, from Wise county, VA, who died in about 1910 or 1911. She was about 16 years old at the time, and had a new baby boy named Sam. I think she may have been married to a man named Tony. Her parents were Mario Emilio and Maria Scheri. She had a brother Joe(Guiseppe) who was about 13, and a little brother, Pasquale, who later was called Pat. I think her parents were actually named Esposito, and dropped that name to use his middle name of Emilio. They were Italian, and her daddy was a very small, short man, only 5'1" tall. He worked in a coal mine, as did her husband and brother. I can't try to get her death certificate, because there were none back then. I don't have any idea where she would be buried or anything else. I would love to find out what actually happened to her and her husband. Her baby was raised by her parents. Her parents also went by the name of Miller, and also lived in KY and New Jersey. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
