My ancestor, William Huntsman, was born 11-3-1794, in Pa and died 1-8-1883 at Short Creek, Belmont Co, Ohio He married a Mary Anderson 2-29-1820, the dau of Thomas Anderson who owned the next farm over from Wm. Mary was dead before the 1850 census, which showed to be in Wm's household; Caroline (my ancestor), John, Michael, Jane and Thomas. William is supposedly the son of John and Mary Snyder Huntsman, and grandson of John and the illusive Deborah Massey Huntsman...but, I've never seen any sort of proof for this. My own line is documented with Ohio records.
