 James Coulter Strachan (b1794 Perth, Scotland d1827 Newfoundland, Canada) married Mary Winter (1794 Lincolnshire, England, d1882 Quebec City, Canada). Mary re-married to John William Saunders in 1830. Son William George James Coulter was born 1826 in Newfoundland and migrated to South Australia sometime before 1863 when he married Eliza Jane Lampre (b1846 Cornwall, d1900 Milang). He died 1894 in Lake Plains, SA.
