Concerning my grandfather,John Denton b. abt. 1850 in Texas, who traveled to Benton Co. Arkansas in 1907 with his wife Oaka Stipe Denton. My father John Wilkes Denton was born at that time in Benton Co. Wanting to know why they were there, if any Denton would be aware of my grandfather. We have no record of him before 1900 in SD.
