Trying to find more information on various kin that I have been able to trace back to St. Mullins, Graiguenamanagh, Carlow. My GGGGrandfather was Patrick MALONE (b. 1801) m. Mary DALTON (b. 1805). Had sons James (b 1821- d.1894) and John (b. 1824). GGGrandfather James, married Ann NEIL. They had Patrick (1847-1880), Mary Margaret (c.1850), Ann (1853-1875), James (1856-1890) & John (c. 1859). GGrandfather James married someone named McGray, then he married Mary NOLAN (1851-1927). James & Mary had Josephine Johanna (1880-1952), Mary(1883-1959), George Joseph(1886-1956), and Stephen (1888-1966). All four of them immigrated to the US (1901, 1902, 1905, and 1908, respectively, and settled in the greater Philadelphia area. Upon James' death, Mary NOLAN remarried in 1899 to Martin HAYES and had Ann, Dan (m. Mary Behan), James, John, Patrick, and Stephen. I have no idea if any of these folks immigrated or not. Mary NOLAN married a third time (1911)to Robert BONHAM - he died within a year. I have reason to believe Mary NOLAN died in Dublin. Anyone recognize these lines? I have managed to gather quite a bit of info. I know little about the HAYES step-family line. Thanks! Joann | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
