Searching for Raymond B Jones - Arkansas - b 1911-1913 in Peach Orchard, Arkansas. His mother was Bessie Lemons b Jun 23,1893 d Feb,1976 & his father is unknown. His parents were not married. Raymond married Berniece Irene Downs, 1928-29, and had 2 children: Glenda Christine b Dec 24, 1933 & James Max Dec 9, 1936. Ray worked for the CCC camp in the kitchen during the depression. They divorsed and Irene remarried to Flynn B Smith in early 1940's. Both children were legally adopted by Smith in 1950. Glenda - my mother - received a letter from her natural father in 1952-53 informing her that he had remarried and had a 7 year old daughter and was living in Illinois.
