Hi, I am researching the BEATON or BETTON family name. 1900 - JANE COUTTS BEATON father was WILLIAM BEATON Born 1874 mother Mary Milligan. His father was JAMES BEATON born 1843 - Bonhill, Dumbarton - mother was Mary Brunett. His father was WILLIAM BEATON born 1817 mother was Mary McIntosh. Bonhill, Dumbarton. His father was WALTER BEATON Born 1785 mother Mary Muirhead. Bonhill, Dumbarton. His father was WILLIAM BEATON born approx 1740 mother Agnes Gibson. (Paisley , renfrewshire.) I am now stuck!! Can anyone help?
