Seeking information on my mother who passed away Sept 20, 2006. Her madien name is Geraldine Ann Reader, I m 1 of 11 children. My mother has mixed children which i'm one of . Her family never acknowledged the mixed children. I only want to be able to enter information in my family bible that is true. I understand times were different in the early 1900's . I want to know if there is family out there that is related to me , My mother said to me on her death bed that had i been born when her mother was alive i wouldnt be here today. I'm researching all the time, I've found there were alot of family issues which include racial, but by far not the only thing that made people change their name, move to another state, have more then one SS#, put their child away for several reasons ( disabled, mentally challenged, race, incest ) I would like some one to help me that is not worried about what people think , I ONLY WANT TO KNOW THINGS ABOUT MY MOM, IM AN HONEST PERSON, That beleives in God and hope that all that answer this do also.
