Seeking info on the Nevel Family, especially my father. He built half a house in Butler in 1947 or 1948, a picture was in the Butler Eagle I believe. The only address I can come up with is RD 7. I am going back for the first time in this month. I also had an Aunt& Uncle who lived on Graham Terrace I believe, John & Evelyn Krampert, they had a daughter, Elaine and 2 sons, John and Steve. My Dad's parents were John and Julia Nevel, he had several siblings, I can only remember Lawrence, Mary and I think Andrew. My grandparents on my mom's side were in and out of Pa. They were Clayton and Ida (Wolfe) Stover. I don't know much about my family history and would like to know why it was such a big secret! Can anyone help? 5/27/08...Update. I just, last week, found out from a long lost cousin that I was adopted. My mother was a civilian driver for the Army out of Pittsburgh. I'm not sure the adoption was legal or if I was just taken!
