I am trying to locate information about my grandmother who came to America from Lithuania. The town she lived in with her parents was Pazelva, or Padzelva. Her name was Basha or Basche(not sure on the correct spelling)Fayga Kadish. She married Abraham Resnick in order to come to America. When she was approximately 18 - 25 years of age her mother (my great grandmother) sent her to America on the SS Rotterdam ship. She & my grandfather Abraham Resnick, settled in Cleveland Ohio where they had 3 daughters; Ida, Tilly & Rosalyn. When she came to America her name was changed to Bessie Resnick (from Basha Fayga-not sure of spelling). She passed away February 2 1961 in Ohio. My grandmother lived with us (her daughter Rosalyn's family) for many years & she means/meant a lot to me. If anyone has any information regarding my grandmother or grandfather I would appreciate being contacted. I have searched many websites trying to locate information regarding my grandparents with no success. Can someone help me please?
