Hi, I am doing some research and have come across a Colonel John Coy. I am trying to discover more information about a this man who was a Colonel from 1685 to 1697 approx. I have found several pieces of information on him and can pass them on if needed. He fought as a Colonel for Charles Talbot the Duke of Shrewsbury under King William III. He fought in Ireland at the battle of the Boyne and the battle of Aughrim. Does anybody know anything about this man or have they any connection to him?
