Help! I am looking for information on the Campbell Family, Greene County, Tennessee between 1790 through 1850: I have hit a wall with my Campbell family research. I am looking for information on the parents or relatives of David Campbell, (My GGGGF) born 1793, Green Co. NC (now Greene Co., TN) and his wife Barsheba/Bathseba Carter, born 1797 in Greene Co. TN. They were married 5 March 1818 in Greene Co. TN. They moved to Pulaski Co., Missouri before 1850. Other known children of David and Barsheba's were: 1. Andrew Jackson b. abt 1818 2. Loranza D. b.abt. 1844 They were all born in Greene Co. TN. The 1850 Greene Co., TN Census, page 169 part B, lists: Jackson Campbell age 32 Farmer Sarah (Wife) age 34 Elizabeth 10 Rebecca 7 Alfred Carter 3 Andy Waldon 4 Catherine Fry 18 Joshua Campbell 19 Farmer (My GGGF) George Campbell 17 Joshua A. Campbell married and Elizabeth “Sarah” Kerbaugh in Greene Co. Tennessee, 23 May 1853. They moved from Greene Co., TN to Pulaski Co., Missouri in late 1853 or 1854. Joshua and Sarah had 13 children. Their children were: 1. Elizabeth Emaline (Campbell) Morris, born 1854 2. Andrew Jackson Campbell, b. 1855 3. William Franklin Campbell b. 1857 4. Mary B. (Campbell) Parks b. 1860 5. Harriet (Campbell) Barnes b. 1870 11. Margaret (Campbell) Ketchum b. 1871 12. Alfred Newton Campbell 1873 13. Louis Benjamin Campbell b. 1875 (My GGF) Joshua and Sarah later moved to the Northwest (Whitman County) WA in late 1876-77. Appreciate any help you can provide. They spent a total of 25 or so years in the Pulaski County, Missouri area. Some of the family I believe stayed and I see in the Pulaski County 1850 and 1860 Federal census that there were other relatives in the Pulaski Co., Missouri area. I have other research on the family that I will share with you. Appreciate any help.
