I am looking for information on John Toler and Mary L. Sloan. John was born in NC abt. 1796 and married Martha Irvin in Williamson County, TN in 1821. From there they moved to Missouri where Martha passed away. A few years after losing Martha, John married Mary L. Sloan. They left Missouri and settled in Kansas. John died in the 1880's. Am looking for information on John's parents (they are not the Wayne County NC Tolers) and Mary Sloan's parents. The only clues I have been able to gather have come from the middle names of some of Martha and John's children. These middle names are BLACKBURN and HAYSLET. and from Mary's son and my direct line, Henry WINFIELD Toler. Any help linking these Tolers with other branches would be terrific.
