I am looking for my birth farther John Dawson and any relatives from his side who I have never met, John was in the Navy based at the HMS Excellent in Portsmouth, he got married in 1948 in Edinburgh. I was born in Edinburgh, but then we moved away. I understand from what I have found out that his mothers name was Emma Lovelock and his farther's name was John Dawson. Have no idea whats so ever where he orginated from, but I do know he married my mother in 1948 in Edinburgh I also have a brother.
