Looking for any Chappel/Chappell/Chapel with a possible Johnson connection ,with family connections in Texas. Not certain of state families originated... poss. Alabama, Missouri. I have found/census record, some settled in the following Texas counties. Washington, Burleson, Austin & Lee I found Abrom Chappel (b abt.)1763 in AL (d) aft.1870 In Fayette Co. TX. Living in household with Mary Amelia(Chappel) Ransom's family Information on Harriett & Andrew Chappel was gotten from Mary Lil Chappel, great granddaughter of Andrew Chappel, brother of Mary Amelia ( Pamelia/Mila) Chappel b-bet) 1833-1845 in Poss. Chappel Hill, Washington Co. TX or Yellow Prarie ( Yellow Buffalo Grass TX) later became Chrisman, Burleson Co. TX...(d) abt 1910 Granger, Williamson Co.
