Hi, I am searching for Lucy Ellen Ross who was born probably around 1855. She married my grandfather, Jason R. Rushing in Hopkins or Wood County, Texas. They lived in Winnsboro, Texas and had nine children. I'm not exactly sure where the Ross family came from, perhaps Mississippi, but family lore is that Lucy Ellen's dad came to Texas in a covered wagon carrying 13 of his children. Since the children of Jason & Lucy Ellen would be my dad's half brothers and sisters, I would be interested in hearing from any of you. Thanks.
