I am an adoptee searching for my birth father Kevin Hooper - a student at Glenforest Secondary School in Mississauga, Ontario at the time of my birth (September 16, 1970). My birth mother's name was Helen Glenn. I was born Sandra Lynn Glenn at Toronto Western Hospital and put up for adoption immediately following my birth, due to the age of both of my birth parents (young teens) at the time. My adopted surname then became McVean. On June 10th, 2007, I did manage to find - quite accidentaly - Kevin Hooper's parents in Apsley, Ontario (about an hour and a half outside of Peterborough. It is possible that this was a cottage and that there is a regular residence in Peterborough also.) I spoke to Kevin's mother who is now 86 years old, and she was adamant that she would not help me locate Kevin. She was, at times, actually quite nasty to me and did say a lot of very hurtful things. She did however indicate that Kevin has been married and divorced twice now and has an eight year old daughter as well. If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of Kevin Hooper after 1979, your help would be greatly appreciated.
