I am seeking the parental lines of Benjamin MOORE and his wife Harriet (Hattie) who are found on the 1870 census in Speight's Bridge, Greene County, NC...Their children are: William Henry, age 9 yrs, Lucy Ann, age 6 yrs, Joseph, age 4 yrs... Later on there was also born to this family a daughter by the name of Elizabeth, born abt 1873. Now, son, Joseph is actually Joseph Tobias MOORE, born 06 October 1866, and sometimes noted on other census as Josiah or Joe, depending on the census year. Joseph Tobias MOORE married an Elizabeth WILLIAMS either in Greene County or in Johnston County, NC...They are at rest now in the Maplewood Cemetery in Wilson, Wilson, NC...I have more specifics on this line, after Benjamin... But prior to finding out that Benajamin MOORE, was born abt 1835 and his wife Harriet, also known as Hattie, was born abt a year before Benjamin, in 1834.....I also would like to find out the maiden surname of Harriet.
